Lead complex IT projects to modernize, migrate, and sustain software and hardware initiatives under an Agile process, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
Manage project plans to define timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
Gather and document project requirements from stakeholders and resources.
Create detailed documentation to ensure clarity on project outcomes.
Collaborate with leadership and technical teams for policy and standards adherence.
Facilitate meetings to mitigate risks, solve issues, and enhance processes for project success.
Maintain clear stakeholder communication, providing updates on project status and performance.
Work with Change Management and Governance teams to meet quality assurance standards.
Support strategic planning, process improvement, and IT modernization efforts.
Ensure project closure, verifying all deliverables are met and documentation is complete.
Coordinate with cybersecurity teams for compliance and security.
Assist with DoD secure technical guides, ensuring adherence to Cybersecurity and Change Management milestones.
Prepare and present briefings to leadership and management.
Qualifications:
Education: BA/BS in Information Technology, Information Management, or Engineering.
Clearance: Active or Interim SECRET clearance, or eligibility to obtain one prior to joining.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years (84 months) managing large, complex technical projects.
Certifications: CompTIA Security+ required before joining; PMP or ITIL Intermediate (or above) preferred.
Preferred: Experience with Cloud environments.
Additional: Prior Project Management experience within the Department of Defense or government agencies is a plus.
