TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer II located in Byhalia, MS/Middleton, TN.

This role will support role out of new IT systems from a Manufacturing Engineering perspective. Individual will use new IT systems such as Wind Chill to set up new prints, routings, and manufacturing documentation to already established guidelines and standards. Interface with Product Engineering, Logistics, Operations, IT, Document Control, and others to ensure product documentation is set up according to standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Take Engineering level prints and create mark ups for Manufacturing level prints and documentation.

  • Develop Bills of Material structures including parent/child part associations

  • Identify and notate parametric, variable or constant components

  • Develop kits as needed to fit production and packaging requirements

  • Mark up .pdf files using Blue Beam

  • Estimate labor cost for part processing to make or Buy decisions


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent.

  • Three or more years in a manufacturing environment

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes such as shear, punch, form, drilling, tapping, and welding

  • AutoCAD experience

  • Use of Blue Beam software for marking up PDF files

  • Microsoft Office (Mainly Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)

  • Ability to estimate labor costs for part processing

  • Understanding of solid modeling, preferably SolidWorks, preferred

  • Use of Configuration software (Such as Configit) would be a plus

  • Use of MRP/ERP system would be a plus (COPICS)

  • Use of print system (like PDM or Windchill) software is a plus
