Purpose of the Job: Your role as a Maintenance Supervisor is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of our maintenance department.

Job Duties:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will:


  • Assign PM’s, checks PM completion and track PM completion rates.

  • Manage and direct daily activities to Mechanics and Parts Clerk.

  • Ensure all safety standards, policies and procedures are followed.

  • Schedule maintenance employees according to workloads, vacations, etc.

  • Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Responsible for Food Safety where applicable.

  • Work with maintenance team to adhere to budget costs.

  • Create department procedures and facilitates training.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:


  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Five (5) years maintenance experience.

  • Four (4) years of supervisory experience.

  • Programmable Logistics Controller (PLC) training.

  • Good leadership skills.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Must be able to communicate with highly skilled technicians.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing problems.

  • Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
