This job will have the following responsibilities:
Administering and managing employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
Overseeing leave of absence programs, including FMLA, parental leave, medical leave, and other company-provided time off.
Coordinating with third-party benefits vendors and insurance carriers to ensure accurate enrollments, claims processing, and issue resolution.
Educating employees on available benefits, leave policies, and enrollment processes, as well as managing open enrollment periods.
Processing leave requests, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA), and tracking leave balances.
Maintaining and updating employee records in HR systems and benefits administration platforms.
Qualifications & Requirements:
2 plus years of experience administering benefits and leave programs within a mid size or larger company
High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred
