Major Duties :1.\tSells ETF, Mutual Fund and Multi Asset Class products and services to prospects producing fee revenue for the bank\n\n2.\tAssists in identifying new prospects by researching potential needs and prioritizing and producing a business plan\n\n3.\tAssists in preparing sales presentations to clients utilizing knowledge of our products and services\n\n4.\tManages territorial responsibilities including contact management database and client reporting\n\n5.\tUtilizes knowledge of bank's investment, trust, custody and securities products and services to work with other internal partners and recommend new services or products to clients where possible\n\n6.\tMaintains thorough knowledge of our products and services by initiating frequent contact with other financial institutions, partners and keeping abreast of laws and regulations affecting the industry\n\n7.\tMaintains knowledge of competitors and their products and services\n\n8.\tAssumes full accountability for the performance/profitability of the area as compared to the plan\n\n9.\tCarries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact\n\n10.\tMay have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management\n\n11.\tAble to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees\n\n12.\tMay manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role)\n\n13.\tMore technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas\n\n14.\tDelivers a work product that requires less revision\n\n15.\tAble to facilitate discussions and reach decisions\n\nKnowledge :Knowledge of investment management areas across all products and segments such as fixed income, active and passive equities, cash, securities, and international, as well as, other Northern products and services, usually acquired through related work experience, is required to respond to client's needs\n\nAbility to communicate and sell Northern products and services to generate revenue for the bank\n\nKnowledge of securities and pension industry products and services in order to compete with other financial institutions\n\nExperience :A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required/preferred. Up to 5 years of investment sales experience. NASD Series 7 and 63 required.
