This accounting position will perform various accounting functions such as A/R, A/P, and G/L. This position reports directly to the Controller for The Taylor Group, Inc.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing all accounts payable functions.
Receives and processes invoices for payment, charging to appropriate account number.
Resolves any problems with invoices prior to submission for
Receive and respond to customer requests for invoices, statements, W-9's,
Receive and respond to vendor requests regarding invoice/payment
Receive and record customer payments.
Process applications and set up new customers and vendors in the system.
Prepares and enters journal entries as required.
General ledger account analysis as required.
Prepare bank reconciliations.
Prepare reports as directed by supervisor.

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Be knowledgeable of the accounts payable and accounts receivable process.
Perform all job accountabilities with professionalism and protect the organization's/department's value by keeping information confidential.
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to operate a computer and basic office
Proficiency in data entry and typing is
Oral and written communication skills are required to effectively interact with vendors, customers and employees.
Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to changes.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and
Must be able to work in close contact with others in a small office and be able to get along with

Education and Experience:
Associates degree in Accounting or related business field
2-4 years accounts payable or general accounting
