Clinical Program Development Consultant (JR127995)
Location: Qualified candidates must reside within 50 miles and 1-hour commute each way of a relevant, open, Elevance Health "PulsePoint" location.
Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection, with the minimum in-office commitment for this role being 1 day in an office per week.
The Clinical Program Development Consultant is responsible for supporting, designing and implementing new clinical products and tools within a clinical area. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Designs and implements new clinical products and tools within the interventions team.
Evaluates industry best practices, medical research, and other resources for potential improvements in existing clinical programs and tools.
Develops and modifies existing clinical programs and tools as needed.
Coordinates the presentation, communication, and implementation of clinical programs/tools.
Identifies system needs for the effective implementation of clinical programs.
Creates and distributes Impact Notices.
Responsible for creating team sourcing intake requests.
Maintains team budget tracker against plan.
Defines project team roles and responsibilities.
Identifies, documents, and prioritizes scope changes and facilitates approval process.
Maintains and updates all project documents; maintains issue log; facilitates resolution of issues
Tracks program performance and results and modifies as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in business, public health, nursing, epidemiology biostatistics or related field and minimum of 3 years experience involving analyses of health care data and clinical program development; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expert using MS Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Experience writing policy and procedures.
Solid Project Management skills.
Knowledge of HEDIS measures.
Masters in public health, health services administration, nursing, or business administration preferred.
