- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates or deductions.
- Review and verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with payroll-related compliance, including tax filings and audits.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related benefits.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate reporting of employee hours and leave balances.
- Prepare payroll reports for management as needed.
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll software systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Works with business partners and vendors to analyze and define the business process that needs an IT solution.
- Identifies and documents high-level requirements, maps future state of the payroll and time and attendance solutions, and ensures the system/solution meets business and user requirements.
- Document and map business process and requirements for the future state of the payroll and time and attendance solutions.
- Identify and understand the end user's need. Facilitate the business process redesign and documentation as needed.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum [2-4] years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and practices.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
