TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking an experienced and innovative Product Manager to lead the development of our Smart Mobility Product Initiative. This position will be based in our Nashville, TN office.

TransCore is seeking an experienced and innovative Product Manager to lead the development of our Smart Mobility Product Initiative with the intent to rethink how users move, providing innovative, user-friendly solutions to their day-to-day lives reaching millions of users across the globe. This "zero to one" role is pivotal in building an entirely new product from scratch. You'll drive the product vision, strategy, and execution, developing a high-quality, data-informed user experience, while balancing the needs of our customers in driving end-user growth, engagement, and retention goals.

Work Arrangement - Hybrid (Onsite/Remote). Travel depending on business requirements. Occasional travel to client sites and other TransCore offices may be involved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Product Development: Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of a user-facing application, setting strategic product roadmaps and delivering on key milestones. Adapt to channel requirements and seek alternative ways to thrive in the mobility ecosystem.

  • Feature Design & Prioritization: Define and prioritize next generation forward thinking multi-modal user features and functionalities, with a strong focus on usability, engagement, and customer satisfaction.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze customer data requirements, leveraging insights to shape product features that drive user growth, retention, and overall satisfaction.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX, marketing, finance, and regional teams to align on product goals, go-to-market strategies, and customer communication. Partner with engineering teams to integrate tolling infrastructure, back-office, and backend systems.

  • User Experience: Collaborate with UX teams to design and test user flows that are intuitive, effective, and aligned with user expectations, ensuring a seamless experience across all customer touchpoints.

  • Technical Expertise: Apply deep technical knowledge to work effectively with backend architects and engineers, ensuring scalable and reliable platform integration.

  • Supervisory responsibility: This position may have supervisory responsibilities depending on the project requirements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience building user-facing applications, with a strong background in product management for complex software solutions.
  • Deep understanding of customer data analysis, growth strategies, and retention methods.
  • Proven track record of managing "zero to one" product initiatives, especially in tech-heavy, regulated industries like transportation or infrastructure.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
