We are seeking a versatile and experienced Software Engineer to develop advanced generative and conversational AI applications. This role emphasizes the development of robust, scalable applications to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have production experience in several languages, including Python, and is capable of API and full stack development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implementation of scalable and high-performance
    software applications.
  • Mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and
    high-performance culture.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver solutions
    that meet business objectives.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best
    practices.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to
    improve development processes and products.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment
    and maintenance.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent
    practical experience.
  • 3+ years experience as a software engineer
  • Multi-lingual proficiency, including production Python development with frameworks such as
    FastAPI, Django, or Flask and data validation with e.g. Pydantic.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a
    collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with other programming languages and technologies (e.g., Java, C#, Node.js).
  • Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools

This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner.

The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $108,000 and $120,000 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
