Description: Job Summary

The International Student Experience Fellow is given the opportunity to gain experience in U.S. higher education administration through the provision of administrative, logistical and programmatic support for the Office of Student Affairs, with a primary focus on the international student experience.

Position Description

International Student Support

  • Under the supervision of the Associate Director for Community Building and International Student Support, plans and executes a robust holistic series of programs, services and events throughout the academic year to meet the academic, social, and professional development needs of international students.
  • At the direction of the Associate Director for Community Building and International Student Support, coordinates orientation programming for international students.
  • Coordinates International Ambassador program for admitted students.
  • Implements assessments of programs and services for international students to ensure the current needs of students are being met.
  • Coordinates end of year reception for international students and their guests.
  • Manages the creation and dissemination of biweekly newsletter for international students.
  • Researches, evaluates, and maintains resources for professional development that support the unique needs of international students to inform the strategic planning work of the Associate Director.


OSA Programming and Administrative Support

  • Serves in a broad capacity providing administrative, programming, and community building support for the office.


This is a term position ending 6/30/2025.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years related experience.
  • 2024 Graduate of HGSE
