In this position, you will serve as the Provost for the Resilience, National Preparedness Directorate, National Training & Education Division, National Disaster & Emergency Management University (NDEMU). Typical assignments include:
Organizing, coordinating, managing, budgeting for, and governing all aspects related to programs and activities, personnel, physical facilities, and technology for on-line activities.
Supervising efforts to systematically assess training courses to determine if they are achieving course goals and to identify areas for improvement to create higher quality training products.
Serving as a thought leader, participating in and contributing to key stakeholder meetings and working groups related to training, education, and exercise course development and management systems.
Developing, promoting, and supporting a strong academic environment as a trailblazer in emergency management training and education.
Supporting and implementing accreditation standards to meet or exceed those provided by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and the American Council on Education (ACE).
