Job Description

Position Summary:


Staff Nurses at the Wexner Medical Center are responsible for the following:




  • Managing and providing care to the patient and their family.




  • Directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.






  • Assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.





Minimum Education Required


2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in nursing.



Additional Education Desired


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in Nursing.




Required Qualifications

  • A degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program.




  • Current Ohio license or interim permit.




  • Experience in relevant care setting preferred.
