Job Summary:

A Substance Abuse Worker provides basic supervision and assistance to clients of a residential substance abuse program. The Certified Adult Peer Support Specialist (APSS) provides assistance to clients of a substance abuse program using their unique lived experiences to guide and support others in some form of recovery.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must possess valid driver’s license
• Certified Adult Peer Support Specialist also requires Kentucky Certified Adult Peer Support Specialist (APSS) designation
