As part of the software team behind the Happy Ring product, you will collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members across multiple disciplines.You will architect and execute integrations and new implementations across our API ecosystem so that all the services and systems instrumental to the end-to-end customer-facing experience (e.g. CRM, EHR, eComm, 3PL, etc.) are running and executing correctly.Key Responsibilities:You will be a key technical stakeholder ensuring that from the first moment of customer purchase, through ring sizing and delivery, and during their ongoing membership experience, customer data is effectively and securely integrated with CRM, Logistics, EHR, and internal dashboard systems as well as our ML data pipeline, which generates and surfaces health and wellness insights for patients, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical partners.You will be working on a serverless tech stack based in AWS, primarily utilizing (Python) Lambdas, API Gateway, CDK, S3, and EC2 to architect and implement APIs (and underlying datastores) to integrate with our various business dependencies, as well as deliver meaningful data to and from customers resulting from their use of the Happy Ring.You will guide other team members, contractors, and partners in best practices for building on these systems.You will coordinate with stakeholders to ensure and document successful regulatory compliance with FDA and HIPAA requirements.You will help maintain regulatory and security best practices in these systems and the various mechanisms used to access them (e.g. M2M authentication, login mechanisms, etc.)Required Qualifications:10+ years of experience in backend or full-stack software development4+ years of experience in AWS (IAM, EC2, CDK, Lambda, etc.)4+ years of experience in PythonPreferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience working in the healthcare technology industryReporting Structure:Direct Supervisor: Chief Technology OfficerPositions Reporting to the role: This role will mentor and guide the IC efforts of both full-time and contractor engineers, but will not have primary management responsibilities.Collaboration:You will directly collaborate with many members across our team:eCommerce: As one of the primary consumers / users of our APIs, you will work directly and regularly with technical and non-technical members of the eCommerce team to ensure that purchasing, 3PL, CRM, and EHR systems and workflows around the Happy Ring product are integrated seamlessly.Algorithms: You will work directly with technical staff on our algorithms team to ensure successful deployment and reliability of their work in our production pipeline.Mobile: You will also collaborate with our mobile engineering team to ensure the APIs our mobile apps / SDKs utilize are properly implemented and meet the needs of mobile users.Partners: You will work with technical members of our partners teams to understand and develop APIs they can use to gather and interact with data generated by their usage of the Happy Ring.Work Environment:Team is hybrid, with a physical office in Austin, TX.
