Job Description: Provide assistance and counseling to employees on their options in the area of benefits. Process Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB), Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance (FEGLI), and Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) forms for new hires, newly eligible employees, qualifying life event changes, and open season. Update Excel spreadsheets for tracking benefits. Answer incoming phone calls to the branch line. Provide written and oral response to general benefits inquiries. Monitor and move incoming faxes to the appropriate staff member folder. Print retirement certificates (when Agency returns to the building). Send out notification to employees for missing carrier membership dues. Monitor and move incoming notices to the appropriate folder in the FEHB Notification Mailbox. Be responsible for incoming mail.
