Where will you work: (Hybrid, onsite Lithia, FL)
The Lead Financial Analyst will play a key role in the reporting, planning, forecasting and analysis of the Phosphate segment. This role will be responsible for partnering with Business Partners on a weekly basis to get information on the status of operations and update key drivers for the forecast. Additionally, this role will support leadership and participate in the preparation of financial information for the Phosphate business unit based on key date deliverables from Corporate FP&A, Corporate Accounting, Investor Relations, and other stakeholders. In this role, you will be using various software and tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Think Cell, S4 HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud to help facilitate analysis, budgeting, forecasting and long-term plans for the business.
What will you do?
Provide leadership support for budgeting, forecasting and management reporting within the Phosphate business unit. Regularly communicate with business partners and the Corporate FP&A teams to ensure that all deliverables are being met at the due date.
Work with key business partners to facilitate and update forecasts with the newest and best available information. Updates to the forecast will be made on a Weekly and Quarterly basis.
Ensuring publishing and reporting of accurate results
Respond to internal and external requests for financial information directly related to the Phosphate business unit. This includes Corporate FP&A, Corporate Accounting, Investor Relations, Tax, Internal Audit, and other stakeholders.
Projects and ad hoc assignments, as assigned by the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis.
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor's degree required with major in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CFA preferred
6+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
Working knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations
Demonstrated understanding and commitment to internal controls
Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills
Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building skills are required
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to lead through influence and network
Ability to effectively work with employees at all levels within the organization
Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities

Experience in the fertilizer or other commodity industry is preferred.
