Summary
Due to continued growth, we are adding a Senior Manager Payroll Compliance position. This role reports to the Vice President Shared Services and will be responsible for ensuring employees are paid on time and accurately in compliance with regulations. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create tools, assess metrics/data and report on current activities and risk areas. Work with various stakeholders to ensure regulatory reporting is completed timely and accurately.

Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Conducting regular audits and reviews of payroll processes, systems, and reporting to identify compliance issues or discrepancies.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as HR and Finance, to ensure accurate employee data is maintained and used for payroll calculation.
Keeping up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and communicating any changes or updates to relevant teams.
Assisting with payroll system implementations or upgrades, including testing and validating payroll calculations and processes.
Providing guidance and support to HR teams and employees on payroll-related matters and compliance requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
8+ years in auditing or experience in a payroll compliance role
Knowledgeable of U.S. payroll regulations
Must have excellent people skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Develop strong working relationships throughout the organization at all levels.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of certified payroll regulatory reporting requirements is required
Experience with Workday preferred but not required
Knowledge of labor union reporting requirements preferred but not required
Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical skills, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills; problem-solving ability and attention to detail
A self-starter who requires minimal supervision
