Job Summary/Basic Function: The Mathematics program at Wheaton College seeks applicants to teach an introductory statistics course. Teaching responsibilities include one section of MATH 141, taught on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Topics include: data summary, graphical techniques, elementary probability, sampling distributions, central limit theorem, inferential procedures such as confidence intervals and hypothesis testing for means and proportions, chi-square test, simple and multiple linear regression, and analysis of variance (ANOVA).
