We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to focus on partnerships within the Yahoo Mail organization. This role involves deeply understanding Yahoo Mail's feature set and capabilities, and working closely with product managers across the organization. You will be the key point of contact for external partners, ensuring their integration with Yahoo Mail delivers value to their customers. You'll also be overseeing the program enabling other industry partners or developers who seek to integrate their solutions into Yahoo Mail, ensuring a secure experience for our customers.

Keep a strong bias for stepping up and taking action, yet demonstrate a willingness to learn and take guidance.


  • What You'll Do:

    • Build strong relationships with large-scale partners who offer Yahoo Mail to their customers, ensuring seamless integration and a successful product experience.

    • Work closely with internal product managers to align on the roadmap, feature sets, and technical capabilities that affect partner integrations.

    • Be the voice of partners within Yahoo Mail, advocating for their needs and ensuring their requirements are met.

    • Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver on partnership requirements, from initial integration to ongoing performance optimization.

    • Define and track success metrics for each partnership, using data to drive decisions and improve the experience for both partners and users.

    • Stay ahead of industry trends and potential partnership opportunities, bringing in new ideas and partners that align with Yahoo Mail's strategic goals.



  • What we look for:


    • Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in managing partnerships, platforms, or large-scale products. Prior experience with email applications and infrastructure is highly desired.


    • Partnership Management: Strong ability to build and manage relationships with external partners, understanding their needs and aligning them with product capabilities.


    • Technical Acumen: A solid understanding of the technology required to integrate third-party services with core systems, ideally with experience in cloud-based or email-related solutions.


    • Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving successful partnership initiatives from concept to delivery.


    • Product Sense: The ability to understand and translate partner needs into product features and roadmaps, with a strong focus on delivering value to end users.


    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.


    • Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills to assess partnership performance and make data-driven decisions.





  • Your day-to-day:

    • Manage and drive the overall partnership strategy and roadmap for Yahoo Mail.

    • Act as the primary point of contact for external partners, ensuring successful onboarding and ongoing collaboration.

    • Collaborate with product managers to align on features and capabilities that impact partner integrations.

    • Identify new partnership opportunities and lead the evaluation and integration process.

    • Define success metrics and use data insights to continuously optimize partnership performance.

    • Work with partners to define requirements for reporting purposes and work with the internal analytics team to build out automated reporting views for those partners.

    • Quickly become a subject matter expert on Yahoo Mail's product capabilities and the needs of key partners.

The compensation for this position ranges from $120,750.00 - $251,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
