Provides network and database administration, device management, and technical support for hardware and software for both the organization's internal and external clients.
Skills/Experience:
Cisco UCS, coming from an enterprise environment. 6+ years
Technical infrastructure support backstop, owns and brings to resolution all technical issues escalated from operations team
Able to work independently on assigned projects, coordinating resources and collaboration as necessary
Applies second-order thinking to engineering solutions for assigned projects
Able to articulate technical details and reasoning to technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have Skills:
6-8 years experience in an Enterprise IT or Service Provider role
Deploy/Provision/Maintain/Operate experience with VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, Pure SAN Storage, Fiber Channel, Zerto
Experience working within ticket systems such a Service NOW
Desired Skills:
Experience with automation, using tools/languages like Terraform, PowerShell, Python
Experience with CI/CD practices and patterns for Infrastructure
Familiarity with principles of DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering
