Job Description:

Location: 11430 NW 20TH ST, STE 300 Miami, Fl and 5411 SKY CENTER DR Tampa, FL




Must reside in the State of Florida



Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection, with the minimum in-office commitment being 1-3 days in an office per week.


Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of of the above Elevance Health locations.



Responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing best




practice and continuous improvement initiatives for a business unit.



PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.


• Researches, develops, and implements related best practices.


• Develops metrics to track performance and goal achievement.


• Serves as internal consultant relative to continuous improvement initiatives.


• Identifies and develops plans to improve performance to be incorporated enterprise wide.


• Serves as subject matter expert on triaging and conducting root cause analyses to resolve provider issues.


• Leads operational work groups and reports findings to all levels of stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:



Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 8 years process improvement experience with planning, project management, business analysis, and leadership role experience, including minimum of 3 years experience as a Process Improvement Manager level; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.



Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience:

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.


• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders.


• MS Office Suite of Tools desired, advanced Excel and PowerPoint preferred


• Subject matter expertise in operational production programs such as SPS, Facets, PLM2, PCM Pega, and Availity strongly preferred


• Operational experience with a focus on provider network contracting, credentialing, provider data maintenance, provider terms configuration strongly preferred
