Staff Accountant at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Woodinville, Washington

Job Description:

We have an exciting job opportunity for a Staff Accountant to work for our client in the manufacturing industry on a contract basis, with the potential to be converted to a permanent, full-time employee. This Staff Accountant will work directly with accounting leadership. What better way to learn and do more than to work with the powers that be?!


This Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with:

• Perform month-end close




• Preparing and reviewing standard journal entries


• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and roll forwards; analyzing to ensure accuracy; and following up on any variances


• Reconcile multiple accounts




• Maintain Fixed Asset schedules including additions, disposals, depreciation, and amortization


• Identify and implement accounting process and systems improvements working cross functionally with other departments


• Will support Jr. Accountant periodically with suggestions on how to handle AP and AR issues.


• Journal Entries

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business is preferred


• 1+ years of general accounting, month-end close, and AR/P experience


• Comfortable working in Excel


• Experience with Sage Intacct (preferred)
