The hiring manager will also consider candidates for Behavioral Researcher.Level of position offered will be based upon the depth and breadth of selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leads and drives generative (identifying behaviors, needs, and opportunities) and evaluative (testing concepts and prototypes) research planning (includes learning objectives, target population, research methods).
Crafts research protocols, selecting appropriate research methods (e.g., ethnographic interviews).
Executes research and leads interviews, often in unique conditions (e.g., in-home ethnography).
Leads and/or conducts analysis/synthesis of qualitative research insights, demonstrating exceptional writing and editing to craft impactful insights that compel stakeholders to take appropriate action.
Oversees research logistics (e.g., recruiting, scheduling).
Models industry best practice design discipline and innovation process expertise.
Coaches innovation team members including experience designers, behavioral researches, business analysts, technical analysts, innovation leaders and business/IT partners on experience design best practices.
Acts as a change agent to establish a sustainable culture of innovation across ERIE.

Minimum Required Education Equivalents:
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, design, research, etc. and five years' related experience, required; or
Associate's degree in a related field such as business, design, research, etc. and seven years' related experience, required; or
Highschool diploma or GED and nine years' related experience, required.
Master's degree preferred. Experience in innovation or human-centered design preferred.
