Director of Acquisitions
Location - Corporate Office, Indianapolis, IN
Primary Responsibilities
Develops and implements a real estate acquisition strategy in collaboration with the executive team.
Manages property acquisition, deal origination, deal negotiation, deal execution, and ongoing implementation.
Monitors and provides necessary reporting, project projections, budget variances, and schedule progress.
Cultivates and maintains broker relationships.
Finds and secures financing/equity for acquisitions.
Drafts/creates letters of intent to purchase/lead land/properties.
Partners with In-House counsel to draft agreements related to deals (LOIs, Operating Agreements, Investment Agreements, Purchase and Sale Agreements, etc.
Negotiates purchase and sale contracts with sellers.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field required.
5+ years of experience in multifamily acquisitions, thoroughly understanding principles and methods of acquisition.
