Overview
Sev1Tech is seeking a highly motivated, assertive and dedicated Technical Writer to support the CNIC N6S PSS program. The goal of the effort is to ensure that new technology for Public Safety Systems (PSS) is produced in the most efficient and timely manner by using industry standard best practices for systems engineering and management.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Prepares and formats technical documents for the programs to include but not limited to LifeCycle Sustainment plans, Systems Engineering plans, technical and white papers
Assist the Chief Engineer in preparing briefings, facilitating meetings, taking and tracking meeting minutes, notes and action items
Prepare and Update schedules, initiating changes and modifications to a program for improvement in product following established guidelines and procedures
Develop tailored systems engineering artifacts and processes for public safety systems according to DoD and international systems engineering standards
Responsibilities
Demonstrated excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences including senior management
General proficiency with MS Project and MS Office Suite and Adobe Suite
Qualifications
B.S. Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Business Administration or related field or a degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above
B.S. Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Engineering Management, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Technology Management, System Engineering, or a degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks
Demonstrated experience preparing and updating schedules, initiating changes and modifications to a program for improvement in product following established guidelines and procedures
