This is a remote position. Candidates must reside in one of these U.S. states: WA, OR, ID, CA, AZ, CO, TX, IL, IN, WI, TN, MA, MD, VA, NC, GA, FL (some restrictions within WA and CA).
Position Highlights:
$117,000-$155,000 yearly salary DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates

What You’ll Do:
Design, configure, develop, and maintain data solutions using various data models, software, applications, and programming languages to meet business needs.
Coach team members on the effective use of diverse software applications and programming languages.
Act as a consultant for BI Analysts, BI Architects, and business partners on BI applications, databases, and functions to ensure consistent technical design, minimize maintenance efforts, and ensure data security.
Collaborate with stakeholders, end users, and Application Analysts to ensure application system design, development, and testing support BI needs.
Lead continuous improvement efforts of developers through the creation and maintenance of code standards, as well as participation in peer review, code review, and Community of Practice meetings.
Contribute to the continuous improvement efforts of the BI Team by leading team meetings and participating in retrospectives.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and/or install equipment or software.
Evaluate, research, and recommend equipment and/or software maintenance and upgrades.
Document incoming technical support calls and project work efforts into tracking database to ensure timely resolution.
Provide advice to Information Services (IS) leadership on the acquisition of new software.
May perform duties as a Scrum Master, including leading scrum rituals, monitoring team health metrics, promoting automation, and eliminating obstacles to achieve goals.
Evaluate capacity for new requests in collaboration with the product owner of the roadmap.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration. An Associate’s Degree in Computer Science and two years’ experience, or a Technical Degree and two years’ experience, may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree. Four years’ experience may also be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: Seven years' experience in BI development is required; BI development experience in a healthcare setting and/or with Epic is preferred
Certifications: One or more of the following:
Multiple Epic Certificate Training Statuses may be required, or the ability to acquire multiple Epic Certificate Training Statuses within 120 days of hire.
Tableau Designer or Developer Badges preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proficient in Epic, Microsoft, SAP, and Tableau tools.
Familiar with dimensional and relational data models, especially Epic Cogito.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and data governance.
Ability to advise on technical solutions and solve product challenges independently.
Capable of managing multiple priorities and developing various reports and data models.
Skilled in designing test plans and documenting technical specifications.
Identifies and automates manual processes.
Quick learner of new reporting languages and applications.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
