The department of Psychiatry has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Data Management Administrator to work onsite at the UHealth campus. The Data Management Administrator (A) assists with the administration of the assigned department(s)' database and analyzes database needs to suggest long-term strategy for data storage. Moreover, the Data Management Administrator participates in the development of policies and procedures related to data security and integrity and monitors database access.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Develops data collection methods to gather information.
Creates and maintains databases for evaluations, annual reports, research activity, financial summaries, enrollment, accomplishments and awards, and assessment activities.
Analyzes and maintains quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate effectiveness.
Monitors daily operations, development, and delivery of data management program content and services.
Coordinates outreach efforts that may include presentations, workshops, and related activities required for the dissemination and reporting of data.
Stays abreast of emerging technologies and new design approaches.
Provides support and training to applicable staff regarding database management and use.
Reviews data to ensure accuracy and reports any issues to appropriate managing staff.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
Department Specific Functions
Assist faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and staff with data analysis.
Distribute monthly data reports.
Lead data initiatives for presentations, workshops, and conferences.
Analyze and maintain both quantitative and qualitative data.
Support research staff with data extraction.
At the direction of the PI, perform data analysis supporting NPPR, new NIH proposals and papers.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
