This role is within CrowdStrike’s Commerce team, whose mission is to enable product-led growth through product trials and direct purchase.
The Commerce Automation Specialist II is an intellectually curious, action-oriented individual responsible for designing and managing workflows that move data through critical points of the buyer's journey.
In collaboration with teams in the Commerce and Information Technology organizations, the Commerce Automation Specialist II works to gather and implement data requirements for workflows that move data through critical points of the Commerce buyer’s journey. The technical and collaborative nature of this role necessitates problem solving and the willingness to gain an in-depth understanding of data systems alongside the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical team members.
Understanding Commerce attribution and operational analytics
Understanding data engineering processes to manage Commerce data workflows that support data systems / integrations.
Understand data systems that support Commerce services to effectively troubleshoot
automation issues.
Technical writing and documentation.
User acceptance testing for new features and fixes.
Communicating technical-level issues and understanding their importance in CrowdStrike’s Commerce business.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology Management or a related field.
2-5 years experience working with CRM software and integrated systems.
Basic SQL skills for troubleshooting and data analysis.
Critical thinking, an astute attention to detail, and passion for knowing how systems work.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in multi-stakeholder projects.
Ability to efficiently context switch and communicate across disciplines.
Startup experience.
Prior work managing integrations between data systems and designing data flows.
Issue and project tracking software experience (e.g., Jira); understanding of the software development and data lifecycle.
Project management experience.
Awareness of data management and data quality assurance best practices.
