RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a fully remote Staff Software Engineer to join their team.

Summary:
This team builds all the models and houses the data for all the ML algorithms and online applications. They are constantly building out this new platform and data models and are heavily focused on python, airflow, SQL and GCP. They do not need any ETL type candidates but more strong coders who are experts in python. Secondly, the client is looking for a lead who can mentor others, guide the team, help them prioritize, and assist with planning. They will be 50% hands on and 50% leadership/mentoring, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 7+ years of data engineering experience


• Expert in Python


• Expert in SQL


• Expert with cloud (GCP preferred)


• Experience with BigQuery preferred


• Experience with airflow


• Experience leading a team and mentoring junior engineers

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
