Position Description:
Performs duties to monitor and maintain production line rates and product quality with a Safety-minded attitude that maintains and enhances a Safety-culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Verifies that all production documentation is complete and appropriate information is correctly updated in Adage/Whistle
* Serves as operator/labor relief for lunches and breaks
* Actively participates in food safety programs that ensure the safety of ingredients and finished products
* Drives employee safety programs with all employees
* Maintains compliance for all employee and food safety programs
* Collaborates with the scheduler and plant management to ensure regulations are followed, schedules are met, and quality exceeds customer expectations
* Monitors, inspects, and is accountable for production rates, equipment, and overall quality to ensure conformance to product specifications, making and reporting adjustments to equipment or processes as needed
* Troubleshoots problems/issues; develops, recommends, and initiates action steps that provide resolution to achieve positive results
* Serves as a role model for workers in terms of work ethic, professional image, and conduct in full compliance with all work rules and policies.
* Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
* High school graduate or equivalent
* Strong working knowledge of HACCP procedures
* Basic computer skills
* Able to work overtime and weekends
