The primary job is conducting high quality academic research in Information Systems with particular interests in AI and Cybersecurity and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Information Systems, Business Analytics or Cybersecurity. Applicants must also be willing to support the department and its initiatives.
Applicants must have earned a doctorate in Information Systems or a related field from an accredited (or equivalent) college or school by the date of appointment.
Preference will be given to candidates with strong research records and teaching experience in the relevant areas.
The ISOM Department offers courses in Information Systems, Operations Management, Business Analytics, and Business Statistics in the College's undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA, MSIS, MS Business Analytics, and Ph.D. programs. ISOM faculty have diverse research interests and are very active in conducting high impact research and publishing in premier research journals. According to the IS Scholar Ranking published by AIS, UTA is ranked #24 in Americas (North and South America) and #33 worldwide based on publications in the Senior Scholars' Basket of 8 journals from 2019 to 2023.
