Job Details:


The primary responsibility of the SSOP Person



  • is to monitor Good Manufacturing Practices and Operational Sanitation practices in the plants Pack-out area and other duties as required by the supervisor.


  • Specific duties will consist of monitoring of team members to ensure they are following clean room procedures, and associated requirements.


  • The OSM will monitor for proper set up of and titration of hand dips and foot dips.


  • The monitor will monitor proper sanitizing and storage of hand tools and storage of equipment while not in use.


  • The OSM will monitor for cross contamination by team members, equipment and floor cleaning and wash down procedures.


  • OSM duties will also include monitoring of environmental conditions which may lead to condensation in the department over and around product and product contact surfaces.


  • The OSM monitor must be able and willing to be cross trained and to be designated the Pack Out Foreign Material Monitor.


  • Physical requirements may include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing and reaching are required.


  • Must be able and willing to lift and care 25 lbs. occasionally. T


  • his position may work in a cold (50 degrees F or below), damp or hot, humid environment in some areas.

• Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
• Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
