Faculty Opening for a Professor (Teaching) in Engineering Entrepreneurship
The Stanford Department Management Science & Engineering invites applications for a teaching faculty position in entrepreneurship. The appointment will be made as a Professor (Teaching), with rank (Associate or Full Professor) depending upon the candidate's seniority and experience. Normally, the initial appointment term is up to 6 years, and is then eligible for promotion to a continuing term appointment, which provides security of appointment without requiring further formal reappointment.
The primary departmental home of the appointee will be in Management Science & Engineering in the School of Engineering, and the candidate will be an active faculty member and bring leadership to the Department, School and the University. The responsibilities for Professor (Teaching) include: teaching classes, leadership role in designing, coordinating and strengthening the undergraduate and graduate curriculum, and involvement in the broader entrepreneurship educational community at Stanford and beyond.
Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in the advertised field or a closely related one. The ideal applicant for this position will have a strong commitment to and demonstrated aptitude for teaching, as well as an established reputation and national and international visibility in entrepreneurship education.

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Associate Professor (Teaching): $152,325 - $184,845
Professor (Teaching): $174,000 - $245,672
