The clinical practice associated with this position will be for elective general surgery, emergency general surgery, and surgical intensive care unit. The Acute Care Surgery Service is based out of East Jefferson General Hospital in the metro New Orleans area. East Jefferson General Hospital is the main teaching hospital for Tulane University SOM.
