ASC is seeking a strong leader to fill our Plant Manager role, located in our Ashtabula, OH site. The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. This individual will be a critical contributor as we continue building the foundation for our future through growth strategy and operational improvements.
How You Will Help:
Oversee operations to ensure safety.
General oversight of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, and inventory.
Create accountability and lead by example.
Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping.
Maintain and/or upgrade existing plant facilities and equipment including the replacement of, or adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering or a related field, MBA preferred.
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing plant or other industrial facility.
Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
Experience with best practices / LEAN manufacturing / Supply Chain or certification in these areas.
10+ years of plant operations, 5 years in a management capacity.
Strong knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards including TOSHA, local, state, and federal health, and safety regulations.
