We are seeking a Senior Director, Product Management to join our LSMS (Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry) business unit within the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division. Reporting to the Vice President/General Manager of the business, you will lead product strategy, development, new product introductions and expanding market presence in Mass Spectrometry end markets like Life Science research, Analytical Sciences, Clinical and Environmental & Food Safety.

  • Partnering with commercial leadership to drive revenue and sales targets.


  • Providing strategic direction and conducting market assessments.


  • Protecting and advancing market position.


  • Interacting with partners and customers.


  • Providing leadership to Product Support Engineering and Product Support teams in addition to Product Management teams


  • Collaborating with commercial, research & development, applications and marketing teams both within the Division and across the company to advance the company's innovation and growth agenda.


  • Optimizing the Product Management function and aligning it with business priorities fostering a One Team culture across LSMS.


  • Collaborating with commercial leadership to achieve revenue and sales goals.


  • Offering strategic guidance and performing market evaluations.


  • Safeguarding and enhancing market share.


  • Engaging with partners and clients.


  • Leading the Product Support Engineering and Product Support teams, as well as the Product Management teams.


  • Working with commercial, research & development, applications, and marketing teams within the Division and throughout the company to promote the company's innovation and growth objectives.


  • Refining the Product Management process and ensuring it is in line with business priorities.


  • Encouraging a unified team ethos across LSMS.



How will you get here:




Education



Requires a relevant undergraduate degree,with leadership experience at a top analytical instrumentation firm, a plus.



Experience:



  • A minimum of 10 years in managerial and technical roles.


  • Solid foundation in analytical product development and capital equipment commercialization.


  • Capacity to convert market insights into viable business strategies.


  • Expertise in product marketing and management, robust leadership and management abilities, international experience.


  • Outstanding communication skills.



Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $231,200.00-$346,775.00.
