The Walla Walla Union-Bulletin is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join our team in Walla Walla, WA. This hybrid role involves working both from our office and remotely.  

Description:

As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in connecting organizations with our large, loyal audience across our online, social, and print platforms to help them achieve their goals, all in support of our award-winning news team.  

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include maintaining and growing relationships with key clients and identifying new business opportunities. An understanding of digital marketing strategies is helpful, but we’ll train the right enthusiastic candidate with connections in the community. You will manage client relationships from beginning to end, including prospecting through campaign reporting.  

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have documented experience in managing and growing a base of consistent customers, with bilingual English/Spanish skills being a plus. You should be able to brainstorm tailored versions of our tried-and-true packages to solve real problems for the businesses in our area. Ongoing training and development will be part of your role within our cohesive team. To qualify, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), able to manage multiple projects, and have experience in a selling role, account management, or presenting solutions to business owners. Reliable transportation is required, as well as good organizational skills.  

Compensation:

As compensation, you can expect a base salary of $38-41k, uncapped commissions starting from an existing book of business, quarterly bonuses, mileage and cell-phone reimbursement, as well as company-provided insurance for health, dental, and vision and a matched-401k.
