As a Warehouse Lead you will:
Manages the sites warehouse and packaging staff on designated shift to achieve operational objectives. Approves and reviews times sheets as directed by supervisor.
Operate warehouse equipment such as a pallet jack and forklift.
Collecting merchandise distributed and safely transport materials to the bay. Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.
Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse. Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged items and immediately notifying the supervisor.
Ensuring that all items are safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
Verifying labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
Planning, organizing, and directing activities within the warehouse to ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
Communicating with other departments or managers to ensure that orders and supplies are fulfilled according to production schedules.
Request to order new inventory items from purchasing when stock is low.
Ensuring all warehouse equipment works properly, and safety procedures are followed.
Performing physical labor such as lifting boxes, moving inventory to storage areas, or cleaning workspaces.
Overseeing the flow of inventory through the warehouse by ensuring that it is accurately stored and cataloged.
Prepares, review, and processes legible and accurate forms and records.
Maintain front building area/warehouse sanitization and organization.
Back up other warehouse leads in their absence.
Documentation -
Uses software systems to manage inventory and transfer orders.
Ensures any defected products are reported and properly processed for disposal.
Updates processes and procedures to meet production quality standards.
Leadership-
Opens and/or closes the facility as required.
Use effective communication and teamwork skills to build relationships with team members.
Ensure a strong culture in safety and GMP compliance.

The ideal candidate will have:
Leadership or management experience preferred but not required.
Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong regard for quality assurance meeting company standards.
Good knowledge about industry products and processes.
Basic mathematical arithmetic.
Excellent communication skills and ability to follow verbal as well as written instructions.
Ability to use both hands for repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.
Ability to read and write in English language.
Must be meticulous, initiative-taking, able to work independently and possess excellent time management.
Must be able to follow verbal as well as written instructions.
Knowledge of laws, codes, rules, policies, and regulations relating to warehouse operations.
Ability to work both independently and cooperatively and provide effective leadership and team building with others.
Ability to multitask, organize work, set priorities, meet deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent education required.
Physical Requirements:
Work may be performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking.
Communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
The use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Required bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds.
Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust and fumes.
