Primary Responsibilities:


Function: Admissions RecruitingScope: Recruits students by visiting assigned high schools and other college admissions or recruitment events. Arrange and lead campus tours and initiate University efforts for students to attend the institution.Primary Duties and Responsibilities*Serves as a member of the Enrollment Management team and manages extensive recruitment
travel by assigned regional territories and or populations.*Coordinates contact and visits with prospective and current High School and Community College
partners.*Ensures that recruitment goals are met regarding prospects, inquiries, applications, acceptance
and enrolled students.*Facilitates great customer service by answering questions via phone, email, and text in a timely
and professional manner.*Coordinates and schedules interviews and informational presentations to prospective students,
parents, staff, faculty, high schools, and institutions.*Contact students via phone, e-mail or written correspondence to complete or update pending
admission applications or to resolve circumstances that prevent or delay registration and
logging these interactions within the CRM.*Knowledge of Undergraduate, Graduate, Transfer, and Dual Credit programs and colleges, as well
as clubs and organizations at Sul Ross State University.*Actively participates in meetings, exercises creativity in planning recruitment events, and serves
on several planning committees.*Mentors student ambassadors by supporting campus tours and presentations.*Works periodic weekends and outside the scope of Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm.

SupervisionReceived: Member of the Enrollment Management Division. Directly report to the Assistant Director of Admissions and up to the Executive Director for Enrollment Management.

Working ConditionsUsual: Current driver's license and driving record acceptable to the university must be maintained as a condition of employment. Must have personal transportation. Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends. Exempt from overtime provisions.Special: The position is security-sensitive and located in Alpine, Texas.
Any qualifications to be considered instead of stated minimums require the prior approval of the Human Resources Director.
