Job Description:

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Athletic Trainer.

  • Position type: Contract - to - Hire
  • Location: East Syracuse, New York
  • Job/ Shift Hours: 2: 00pm-9:00pm M-F, Saturdays as needed
As an Athletic Trainer, you will be required to have:
  • Available after school hours and weekends to provide care to student athletes during games and practices
  • Provide home game coverage to assigned schools.
  • Travel with Varsity Football and other high-risk sports to away games.
  • Provide care in injury prevention, evaluation and rehabilitation of injuries, first aid, and emergency care.
  • Documentation of Injuries/Illness via EMR
  • Assist Athletic Director as needed/per their instruction
  • Proper Referral to overseeing Physician
  • Abide by standing orders with Physician and scope of practice in NYS

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree and certification by the BOC (Board of Certification).
  • Must have BOC Athletic Trainers Certification by the start date (new grads encouraged to apply).
  • Must hold current BLS for Healthcare Professionals Certification.
  • Must have NYS Athletic Trainers License through the NYS Board of Education by the start date.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $30 per hour



*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
