Job Description:

UPS Capital, a financial subsidiary of UPS, is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for the Parcel Pro group. This position primarily provides customer service by answering high volume of incoming calls and assisting customers with customer accounts, services and questions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced office environment and have strong technology, analytical, oral and written communication, problem solving and time management skills.

The Customer Service Representative will provide general administrative support for the office and sales management team. He/She will also provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers via phone and email.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Resolves customer support challenges in a time-critical environment using problem solving strategies
  • Manages multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced office with minimal supervision
  • Analyzes customer problems and communicates solutions verbally and/or in writing timely
  • Answers high volume of incoming calls professionally and quickly demonstrating appropriate telephone etiquette

Knowledge and Skills
  • Demonstrates ability to solve problems quickly
  • Maintains a professional demeanor at all times
  • Demonstrates high level of attention to detail
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform routine analysis, document and present results
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) or similar software
  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred
  • Customer Service experience - Preferred
  • Clerical Support experience - Preferred

Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $20.35/hr to $33.10/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
