About the Role:

Ready for takeoff on an exciting career in aviation hospitality? As a Guest Experience Ambassador, you’ll be on the front lines of our mission to deliver a world-class airport experience, ensuring every traveler feels safe, welcome, and well-supported from gate to gate.

Think of yourself as the captain of guest relations, providing a warm, helpful presence and navigating any challenges our airport guests may encounter. You’ll play a vital role in creating a guest-focused culture, assisting passengers with their needs, and ensuring our terminals meet top-notch standards for cleanliness and safety—because smooth landings start with a well-prepared crew.

Reporting to the Guest Experience Department Supervisor, you'll also conduct facility inspections, ensuring that our terminals shine as brightly as the journeys they launch. Compensation:


  • Maximum – Based on experience

  • Minimum - $16.66

What You’ll Do:


  • Completes daily activities to deliver a guest-focused culture and a healthy, safe, seamless, and enjoyable experience to all airport guests, employees, and vendors.

  • Provides proactive passenger assistance beyond the information desk area by staffing the mobile desk or by roving assigned areas, including ticketing, gate, and baggage claim areas in Terminals 1 & 2. Coordinates with team members for appropriate coverage.

  • Performs activities and program tasks that enhance the safety and well-being of RDU guests, vendors, tenants, and employees through the enforcement of airport terminal standards.

  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and airport terminal operational guidelines and standards

  • Provides travel, airport and regional information to passengers and guests, or refers guests to proper resources, as needed.

  • Supports departmental initiatives to conduct consumer research, airport tours and special events.

  • 1 year of work experience related to customer service.

 Typical Work Hours: 


  • 1st shift: 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • 2nd shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • 3rd shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Shifts rotate every four months, and availability for weekends and/or holidays is required.
