Job Description:

The stunning Conrad New York Downtown is looking for aBar Manager to join the Food & Beverage team!

Stay inspired and join the pinnacle of luxury in the heart of Lower Manhattan, featuring 463 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, rooftop bar, and in-room dining.

In this role, you will oversee the rooftop bar, Loopy Doopy , during season ( April - December and rotate through the other two food and beverage outlets the rest of the year ( Atrio Restaurant and In-Room Dining ) primarily focusing on the PM shift. You will manage a team of up to 40 and report directly to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.

The ideal candidate will be a driven leader with creativity, initiative, and passion seeking to advance within luxury hospitality. At least three (3) years of food and beverage management experience with a background in upscale dining and managing union staff is required.

What will I be doing?

As aBar Manager, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.

• Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
• Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
• Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
• Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 - based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
