We are seeking a component level, Hydraulic Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate understands hydraulic symbols, reads system schematics, understands electrical principles, and is skilled in using hand tools, power tools, micrometers, and testing equipment. We're looking for a self-starter, someone to have a passion for Aircraft repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently. Must possess your own tools. The certification has an education level of a High school diploma, Trade school, GED or equivalent required. This position must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Diagnose, repair and test mechanical, pneumatic and electrical components including engine, transmission, hydraulic valves, pumps, cylinders, A/C motors and D/C motors, electrical motors at the component level. Fabricates, assembles, services, maintains, and tests industrial hydraulic equipment. Has proven experience as a Hydraulics Mechanic or similar role in Aviation/ Electronics field. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment, strong knowledge of electrical components, ability to work independently and as part of a team. Has to have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
**Nice-to-Have Skills:**
- Knowledge of Ohm's law, Experience using an Ohmmeter, Micrometer, Fluke, Depth Gage, Dial Indicators for electrical- mechanical diagnostics
