The Program Management Specialist is a pivotal role responsible for the effective planning, execution, and completion of assigned projects. The role involves gathering project requirements, developing project plans, monitoring progress, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring the quality of deliverables. The Specialist works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation and provides coaching and mentorship to less experienced team members. This role requires significant expertise in program management and the ability to incorporate best practices into the execution and improvement of action plans.
Responsibilities:
- Planning: Gather project requirements including resources, timelines, and budgets. Develop project plans with input and support from the team and management.
- Executing Project/Program Processes: Monitor execution progress, ensure deliverable quality, and manage scope creep. Resolve minor conflicts and escalate complex issues.
- Dependency and Risk Management: Maintain a log of key issues/risks and dependencies. Elevate concerns and key risks to management and support risk mitigation planning and communication.
- Change Management: Conduct initial assessments to identify the impact of change on relevant stakeholder groups and provide input into change strategy and plan.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure successful project implementation.
- People Development: Coach less experienced team members, provide constructive feedback, and support training initiatives.
- Business Solutions: Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, and monitoring progress and results.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven expertise in program management and applying best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Track record of successfully managing and completing projects.
- Ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management skills.
- Experience with cabling for fiber optics and network connectivity projects its nice to have.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00-$110,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
