About the Role
As the Interim Early Learning Director at the Amesbury YMCA Childcare Center, you will lead and support a team of teachers in nurturing the potential of every child in our care. You will oversee all aspects of our infant, toddler, and preschool programs at our state-of-the-art childcare center in Amesbury, MA. This includes program development, staffing, supervision, implementation, and evaluation.

In your daily work, you will:


  • Guide and inspire a team of teachers.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and families.

  • Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should have:


  • Proven experience as a Lead Teacher or Director in Early Education.

  • Strong knowledge of DEEC regulations and early childhood development best practices.

  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
