ECS is seeking a ARPA-H Biomedical/Healthcare Briefing Coordinator to work in our Washington, DC (Hybrid) office.



Job Description:


Are you a passionate Briefing Coordinator that supports Biomedical or Healthcare research and other initiatives through the delivery of your exceptional briefing development and coordination skills? Are you ready to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) in their mission to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone by facilitating the development of presentations and other documents that inform stakeholders of the high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems?


What you will do:

  • Prepare briefings and other documents to include strategic messaging in support of an ARPA-H Program Manager and the transformative programs being supported.
  • Apply your strong technical writing ability and oral presentation skills to translate scientific and technical knowledge and concepts into succinct visual deliverables that can be communicated and understood by a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Analyze, interpret, and translate ideas and issues into easily understood, clear and concise statements.
  • Conduct independent research, analyze data, and write reports as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with scientists, engineers, and other specialists from diverse backgrounds to elicit content for presentations and other reports.
  • Act as a functional expert on presentations, briefings, and strategic messaging in support of the ARPA-H Program Manager and other support personnel.



Required Skills:

  • Possess at least 6 years of experience preparing briefings and other documents of a biomedical, scientific research, or healthcare nature. Includes support for strategic messaging development.
  • Experience translating the communication of scientific and technical knowledge into succinct visual deliverables.
  • Experience providing this presentation support in support of healthcare-related research and development organizations and senior management.

  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.

  • Masters degree.



Desired Skills:

  • Background in the public health sector is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare related policies and procedures highly desirable.
  • One year or more experience working in an ARPA environment or similar leading-edge R&D environment is highly desirable.
