Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an opening for a Senior Manager within Supplier Management with the responsibility, accountability and authority (RAA) to lead the Government Repairs team Center of Excellence (COE) for all BGS government repair commodities. The successful candidate will lead a team of managers, consisting of the Repairs Buying Teams and the Repairs Post Award Team for all BGS-G Programs along with Special Projects and Initiatives. Join the team in Dallas, TX; Mesa, AZ.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead a diverse team of Supplier Management professionals performing activities related to the acquisition of repair services in support of BGS customers and operations. Ensure organizational, business and technical strategies, goals and objectives align with business and customer vision/strategy. Meet cost savings/affordability targets, measure progress to plan.
Provide strategic leadership, knowledge and oversight of negotiation processes and tools, advance the implementation of strategic contracting strategies, and participate in negotiations as necessary. Develop and build a compliance-focused team culture.
Develop and execute organizational strategies that accelerate growth, reduce cost, and improve supply base performance. Establish partnerships and relationships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports. Builds strategic partnerships with suppliers and/or organizations to advance Boeing's position.
Build and develop an empowered team through coaching and mentoring, and provide developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities.
Inspire a culture and create an environment where diverse, high-performing and engaged team members can excel and flourish.

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
