SUMMARY
As Office Coordinator you will be responsible for providing administrative functions in the medical office. Provide superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values.
STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: WNY Orthopedics at Rochester General Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Orthopedics
SCHEDULE: Weekdays, 8am-4pm
ATTRIBUTES
Administrative Support. Attends and/or participates in assigned meetings, including developing an agenda for staff meetings and disseminating information to office staff. Orders and maintains office supplies. Preparing Patient Surgical Packets.
Patient Support. Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics. Mail patient forms and maps to new patients. Review patient medical charts. Acquire operative reports from hospital and scan into patient charts. Surgical Scheduling.
Insurance. Coordinate disability information with insurance companies. Complete and mail patient disability paperwork. Review IHCFA website and correct worker's compensation information. Enter charges for recheck appointments. Obtaining Authorizations (Injections, Imaging and Surgical).
RESPONSIBILITIES
AS degree preferred.
Two years medical office experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
PAY RANGE: $18.25 - $25.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
